There's not much to say. It's horrible, but not surprising. Theocracies are definitely a very bad thing.

You don't have to buy booze and cigs. I fall well under the $250,000/year threshold and am right smack dab in the middle of middle class, and these taxes have had no effect on me. Why? I don't smoke, and I don't drink a lot. But if I saw that I was having difficulty paying the bills, the first thing I'd cut out of my budget is booze.

In order for a scandal to get "gate" status, it must first contain a possible impeachable offence. Fabricated drama. Senationalizing tabloid news stories. Fox.

I remember seeing the video about this, I'll vote for it. If homosexuals cannot get married, heterosexuals shouldn't be able to get divorced. Despite whatever the nutcase says, it's still a PR move.

1) Get out of Iraq 2) Get out of Afghanistan 3) Address rising college costs and not with more general grant programs. 4) Go back in time and force congress to put out a health bill that will actually help us instead of forcing everyone to get private insurance putting the major burden on 20-30 year olds. It is an interesting statistic. I would ask questions first, however, before jumping the biased conclusions you have. I would like to know: 1) What qualifies as "private sector" in this study? There are government entities which operate just like any other business (for the most part). 2) Of the percentage that do have private sector experience what positions do they hold?...

I ws going to quote your post to point out the most bizarre portions, but I don't see a point in quoting the whole thing. Frankly, this should have been posted in Current Events. I can't think of anybody who would side with this legislation or Warren's stance. In its own freakish way, it isn't controversial enough to merit debate. At least I hope not. I wonder though - what are...
