hi everyone. i have just bought my imac and think i am now sorted but the dvd i was using before are proving a bit naff and making more coasters than discs. what brand do you all use ( not to expensive) - its to make back ups of the kids films.!

I have a web based program that has a link that opens as a pdf. In Safari, it opens as a web page. I need the link/pdf to open in Adobe, as the audio doesn't work otherwise. I don't have this problem in Firefox, but have 6 other computers to change. Does anyone have any insight?

Getting serious about photography I need a better solution for transferring photos from my CF memory cards to my Powerbook G4 (1.67GHz). ok, so heres what I want to do. I want to be able to to put files in my specific music, photo, document folders ect ect. and I want the files to be mirrored on my external drive. Whats the easiest way to do this? I dont want to have to manually copy and paste the files on the drive. Thanks

I was using v7 and all my audio cd's came out distorted and with static. I tried different brands of cd's, and different audio files, but no luck. Then I upgraded to v9, and while the distortion and static is reduced, it's still bad enough to prevent me from being able to tolerate it. What's the deal? Is there another burning program I can switch to? I have so many cd's...

I have the most recent generation iMac (bought last May), and love it. My wife has a P.O.S. Dell laptop that I'd like to replace with a Mac. Normally, I'd go buy the latest and greatest iMac and give it to her, but I know it will be over kill. She's not a tech person at all. Hi, I was wondernig if the macbook pro, (santa rosa chipset) is able to handle European wattage...which I believe is 210 as compared to American wattage? I don't want to being to charge my computer and than have it fried! Thanks for your help!
