Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, stop that pouting, lace up the skates and check somebody into the boards because it's HOCKEY SEASON!!!! w00t!!!! Last season we saw the Pittsburgh Penguins grow up right in front of our eyes to become the Eastern Conference Champions. They unfortunately fell to the Detroit Red Wings, in 6 games, for the Stanley Cup. This year the NHL is ...

Whilst driving home from the latest weekly instalment of the sweaty kickathon that is Sunday 5-a-side football I saw the peculiar sight of an old man walking along the pavement with a leashed tortoise! So what bizarre things have you seen that have caused you to do a double-check?

When it comes to cleaning up my apartment, I'm as lazy as they come(though not lazy at work :P), so naturally my place is freaking disgusting to everyone who isn't me(and barely tolerable to everyone else). I just cannot find the motivation to clean it. So I ask my fellow slackers, how do you keep your place clean?

When you go to the supermarket, do you use paper or plastic bags to carry your stuff out? My family uses paper bags wrapped with plastic bags to carry the bags, though they keep the bags to reuse them for the supermarket and that's what we put our paper recycling in for the weekly collection. P.S. Been awhile since I've done one of these, but ten awesome points for the first person...

Kitties may be cute, but when they do their duty, they're not so cute anymore. <rant> So anyways, while my girlfriend is pregnant I'm stuck cleaning the cat boxes, and I puke in the trash can every time. What sucks is the cats are not ours, but our roommates. Since they are too lazy, we clean up after the cats. </rant> Anybody else here dread at the thought of cleaning the ...

I know we have some ebay experts out there. A friend of mine is going to start selling some stuff on there, and was wondering are there any applications/websites you can use to help build a better auction. Something along the same lines as a Myspace profile pimp-er, but for ebay? Does that make sense? Also, I know there are other websites out there that people are selling on.. I ...

Hello fellow cat lovers. As someone who dearly loves his cats, I like to give them as much variety as I can. However, sometimes their new found fancies can be short lived and so that once eagerly anticipated warmed piece of Mozzarella is no longer welcomed as it once was. Are there any unusual or creative things that you've found or done for your cats delectation that you could pass ...

I hate tipping and the culture around it (speaking about America). We are expected to tip people who are just doing their required job. I was a bagger at a grocery store and helped carry groceries out for countless people but never got tipped. To me, doing that and serving someone food are basically the same. I only tip a dollar at the maximum no matter what the final price is. So ...

With apologies to fans of Battlestar Gallactica, X-Files, etc, etc - I think the three heavyweights of science fiction are Star Trek, Star Wars and Doctor Who. And it's been said in the past that any SciFi fan falls into one of those three categories: a Star Trek fan, a Star Wars fan or a Doctor Who an. So... which are you?

I start college tomorrow, and I'm having some trouble. I have posted before that I have anxiety problems (a while ago actually), and I have made lots of progress but it plays a huge part in why I'm scared to go to college. Of course I have all the normal anxieties of college, I could deal with that if it was all it was. But I have anxieties on top of that, mostly things that are ...

Here's what I want the event on Tuesday to be. Although highly unlucky, a boy can dream First up: - Rave on about market share and all that stuff nobody actually listens to - Kill the AirPort Extreme and lower the price of the Time Capsule, maybe make it aluminum. Also add AirTunes. - Change AirTunes so it works with all apps, not just iTunes - Aluminum Mighty Mouse ...

Lefty here, so can't really use these fountain pens effectively when writing. I got one as a gift a while back, but it just didn't write smoothly. Something about lefties pushing vs. pulling when we write doesn't fit the design of these pens.
