I can confirm that a specific optimisation introduced in 10.6.0 (and existing in 10.6.1) was causing massive slowdown in BioShock due to the way it uses shaders. I suspect the other games like WoW had the same issue as us. We obviously were only focusing BioShock but it looks like most games have got a boost. Glad to know it speeds up more games that just BioShock I suspect this will speed up affected games on all Nvidia cards in 10.6 not...

TBC is pretty good. I do pretty much solo on Server HellScream as a Lvl 70 BE Paladin. Even though Paladin in general seems to be not the best character to be. But in about a month "Wrath of the Lich King" comes out with ability to level to 80 along with a Death Knight. Not too sure of all the features of Lich King but I am looking forward to it. I play only once or twice a week. Mainly...

9400m game performance improved since 10.6.2!!!! Hi guys! After installing 10.6.2 and playing cod4 I noticed a significant boost in framerate on my al macbook (sig). I can now play in the native resolution of 1280x800 compared to the 1024x768 before the update with the same framerate. I only played 30 min or so. This is not a ...

Just finished BioShock using Bootcamp.. Too bad you can get it for the PC for less then $20 now, maybe even lower. BioShock2 might interest me. But I couldn't see spending $49.99 for a game that is that a few years old.

Boaderlands is coming out this fall for consol and PC. It's looking OUTSTANDING. It has visual elements that make a post apocalyptic landscape look outstanding, something that Fallout 3 is lacking and it includes 4 player Coop but I'm not sure if that is multiplayer or it is coop in the solo story (if there is one). It received a cover story in the June 09 PCGamer. I'm excited about ...
