Is it the same with the Shift key on the right side of the keyboard? Does Shift work with keyboard combinations like: Shift + Opt + Command () = mutes the volume as you tap on the volume up/down buttons so as to kill that pesky clicking sound?

I'm not sure of other methods, but this is how I do it. I have a gmail account set up (doesn't really matter what the gmail address is). In the preferences you can change your outgoing email address to whatever you like. So anything sent from that account goes as the address you set... Then in your mail app or iPhone, all you need to do is set the outgoing server to gmail and use the login from ...

You might need a Griffin Firewave 5.1 adaptor as the plugs are 3x 3.5mm analog ends, but unfortunately the Firewave has been discontinued.

I'm also getting the "Black Screen" when I try to Screen Share from my MacBook (running 10.6) to my Mac Pro (running 10.5.8). This seems to be a 10.6 related glitch; I reported it to Apple. As a workaround, try selecting or toggling Adaptive Quality or Full Quality in the Screen Sharing View menu. This works for me to escape the black screen.

I'm not sure but - I think you have to press the "fn" key on the MPB to get the Function Keys to work. the "fn" key is in the very bottom right corner next to control... I'm not sure if you can map those keys without pressing that.

The latest unibody MBP or the previous MBP? Mine (the previous) output socket is DVI. There are two dongles available, the first can output analog video (RCA or S-VIDEO) the other dongle at a better VGA. The Unibodys output socket is MICRO-DVI. There are three dongles avilable, between them they can output MICRO-DVI, DVI or VGA. Basically, an older MBP can easily play on an ...

Have you tried looking on their websites? I think you'll find that they use streaming windows audio format, which won't work in iTunes. QuickTime with Flip2Mac should work, however.

Quote: How do you stop this? By installing the app. Sounds to me as if you mount the disk everytime you want to run the app. This is not necessary, would drive me nuts too. do as it says, drag the icon to your applications folder. if you`ve already done this, trash the firefox.dmg. To start the app, launch from the app folder, spotlight, ...
