Suggestions for a used car
Published (2009-12-31 09:05:00)
I think roo many people put their own preferences dispite what the OP lists as criteria. In truth it is hard to go wrong with either an Accord or Altima. The Altima's tend to be better handlers and a bit more fun than the Accords, but the Accords have more usable space. Other options are the always useful Camry's, but they are as boring as dry toast. Then there is a the IS cars. (IS250, IS300) The G35's are great, as well as...

No on the IS250 but what about an IS300. I think they stopped making them in 05 but not sure if they're in the price range.. I test drove one before the TL but it was a little too small for what I was looking for.

Weighing 300lbs less, with the same amount of power as the Camaro? Ford wins again. Even the new 5.0L GT is going to rape the V8 Camaro, all thanks to the weight.

From the 1990 300ZX to the new 370Z we've gained what??? a whopping 32 hp in almost 20 years. I understand the price differences and motor configurations between the two but come on Nissan bump up the power a little more.
Look at the Mustang and Camaro.... early 90's these were both around 220hp I think, now the Mustang and Camaro are going to be 400hp or above. The domestics have almost ...

Thank you, I actually just got back from the dealer to work out the price for building a 2010 3'r. Placing the order before the end of the year and had no reason to test drive. Looks like the test drive will have to happen.
*information filled out and requested a time for friday. Guess i can look at this as knocking .1% off the final price

I just think that it's a total waste of our tax money to go after 50+ cars of really no real danger to the public - couldnt they just slap them with a fine and let it go? Seriously, I see crimes happening all around my university every day - let's focus on those kinds of crimes and helping people in need instead of this bs.

My SRT-4......that thing was a bullet and overbuilt to holy hell. I so would have loved to have that lump in a car with a chassis that was worth a sh!t. It sounded good, had gobs of torque, and responded very well to mods and remained reliable too.

Hm rather short list. What about the z/g. Sure as hell helped Nissan pull away from bankruptcy.

Agreed. First the guy holding the camera walks in front of the car (twice) and then none of the "mechanics" tell the dude to stop the burnout. Lame.
