Single turbo VQ35HR attempt

It would be very easy, and is something I am looking in to. All you need is an intercooler like this one: It's justa a matter of doing the piping for the other side then. I think any turbo kit for the de can be made to work on the HR with a bit of work.

IDC will be more directly related to airflow. Consider that full throttle TPS at low rpms will be associated with significantly different airflow than at high rpms. You could tune for it, but I think it would require more tweaking than following IDC.

How is $8,900 for a GReddy kit is less than $6,995 for a GTM kit? Tuner kit to tuner kit. I suppose if you are comparing a used GReddy kit to one of our kits, brand new, you could very well have a point. But realistically, our kit is not only less expensive, but includes better components. For example, the Garrett GT28RS turbos in our stage 1 kit use ball-bearing center cartridges which ...

I think you can hit the 500whp goal, but Id at least run 2.5" TD personally. The 3" is REALLY loud.
Some on here run 3" singles and hit over 600whp Id imagine the 2.75" would be sufficient for your goals.
BACK IN THE DAY Julian from MRC was running a 2" TD and making 450ish whp and trapping 120's....

yo chose your EMS based on the availability of tuners for that platform.
On paper they are about the same, but the more proficient your tuner is, the more power you'll make saftely, regardless of EMS.
So I vote Haltech bc I have forged and even IP closeish.

TN VS PL Dyno proof you decide
Mods please do not delete..
I was digging around today and found one of my old dyno sheets. I did not post this up back when I ditched the TN kit for the PL gt35r kit, because I didn't want to leave bad impressions on the Powerlab gt35r kit.
Here is the truth by dyno comparison. The red is ...

hmmm, I'd be concerned you'd block more airflow than you'd provide when at speed....would prolly help on dyno but not likely at 100mph....
cool idea though.

Question on a Dyno Conversion Factor?
Ok so say a car makes 230whp on a Dynopack stock and then makes 414whp. The stock crank hp is 287 so 230 is about 80% of that. Would that mean that my 414whp is like 520 crank hp? (287 * .80 = 230, 520 * .80 = 416) The reason I ask this is because my car doesn't feel like it has 500+ hp (even...
