Bill, How do you correct the odometer? Take it apart? Swap in a speedo from the NB? Go digital? Tomorrow I'll be looking at mile markers and corresponding to the odometer. I'll check after 100 miles if I am still accurate. At least I won't have to count them individually.

When I was in Atlanta surface street traffic I could only go as fast as the car in front of me. Why waste gas in 3rd or 4th when 5th was perfectly capable of allowing me to tailgate the car in front. Gas mileage isn't the primary reason to get a Miata but given that I have one I see no reason to use gas in a way that doesn't improve my enjoyment of the car. Listening to the engine buzz at 3500 RPM in traffic doesn't do it for...

Sorry to hear about your misfortune! glad to hear you didn't get sucked in. Thinking about it gives me the willies! Reminds me of a guy I used to work with at a Suzuki shop years ago. He decided to clean up a chain saw chain on the bench grinders wire wheel. Wound his hands up in it and stopped the grinder. Not once but twice ! Neosporin ointment was his friend for a while!...

Clutch is fine. Hydraulic system is bad. Check the clutch master cylinder, if it is empty the slave cylinder is bad, if it's full then the master is bad.

does the car drive straight when the wheel is crooked? ie. does it track straight? is the ride height from right to left equal?
if yes, a few twists of the tie rods will make it all good.

I am going to assume you own and NA since your only other post was in the NA forum. I am moving your question to our NA section where you might find someone who can help.

Next check the ignition switch harness connector plug.
Then check the main relay (near the clutch master).

could be as simple as a new exhaust and tightening all the dash mounting bolts.

I've had both. The cloth seats don't get hot or scuff/tear like leather. But, I'm not a fan of leather seats in any car really.
It is also simple to make the cloth seats look new again with a can of spray dye.

Get better speakers and put an amp in it.
I don't notice road noise in mine............but.........
My other two main vehicles are a E350 diesel van with a four inch exhaust (ie, quite loud) and a convertible corvette with high flow cat and " glass pack" style mufflers.......again, quite loud.
You might want to do a search on "sound deadening". I have seen a few threads over the last year...

I had an open 4.3 in my autox car last year. Over the winter I put in a 4.1 torsen and have been autoxing the car all summer. I am currently putting in a set of 4.3 gears (It's not an easy job) because I think it's worth it. The car felt much faster with the 4.3. I don't drive the car on the street, so I can't say whether I'd notice a difference on the road.
Honestly for a corner carving ...

I just checked the VIN on Autocheck - would you believe it's true? The car passed it's emissions test in 4/2008 at 3287 miles. But the question is, was it ever taken care of all these years?
