Branching Bolt is a really good side card, especially for the reasons you named. While I would prefer to pack Jund Charm s or Volcanic Fallout s in main, I can see that your deck attacks the hand as well as the life, and effectively. One card that you definatlly need is sanguine bond. It works an awsome combo with blood tribute. In fact, it is an automatic win. Think about it, if you kick blood tribute, your opponite loses half their life, you gain that. Then sanguine bond causes your opponite to lose as much as you gain. Hard to explain but if you read both cards you will notice what im talking about. Good luck
