I wouldn't be surprised if Lotus Cobra's days come again. Extended season is approaching, and I think it's safe to say nothing besides the fetches (and Bloodghast in Dredge) will be seeing play at high levels in Extended. When Standard season comes back in, Cobra, DoJ, and some other cards will probably jump back up a bit. Very surprised at Goblin Guide's low price. He's run heavily in Standard, sees some Extended...

"It dies to removal" is a valid argument when it represents a 6 mana investment, if it appears in your deck it's a win condition, and it dies to an unkicked burst lightning. I guess you could say "It dies to removal that a 6 mana creature shouldn't die to" instead, but meh. The better argument against Roil Elemental in constructed is that you're pretty much always better off having dropped a...

His first ability is strictly a recharger after taking a hit or unsummoning
too much. Frankly, free Brainstorms every turn practically justify the cost
by themselves. I love this guy. He's not ragingly OP, you have to use him
carefully. But in the right deck, he could do wonders. I also feel like he
has a reasonable place in aggro. He'll never replace old Jace in Turbofog,
though.

Based on Mythics I'd have to Say:
Kalitas, Bloodchief of Ghe t is Worthless on his own.
Obsidian Fireheart is Crappy (IMO) but it has it's uses.
For Rares:
Celestial Mantle : is Useless and will always be Useless.
Predatory Urge : is Useless, but has possible potential, not likely, but it's there.
Halo Hunter : The only Use it would ever have, in killing Angels would be ...

It ensures the spell is never cast again, plus in older formats it's
perfect tech against Storm decks. Come on, any single spell that can
completely obliterate Cascade deserves to be Mythic Rare in my book
(especially if it can be cast for free).

It´s nice because it makes every lifelink creature into:
deals damage to your opponent as if it werent blocked. If its unblocked it gets double strike.
Fun for casual but I dont see this being competitive in any format right now.

Warren Instigator is really that high? Hm, it seems, for once, we're having a fairly cheap-singled set, which I welcome.

I don't really get why baneslayer angel is worth so much. Sure its extremely efficient, but look at her sister, battlegrace angel . Is baneslayer really so much better?

ROKENS!!! (Sigil Captian/ Tokens)
So this deck is called Rokens because it's Rhinos and Tokens. And it's about as close to being broken as you can get without banning half the deck. It's basically Tier 0 because it's so stupidly good. I would say critique this but I'm fairly confident it can't get better.
Can this deck lose?...

If the card has been spoiled correctly (I´m sure the cmc is gonna be 6)
it´s a strong card. The protection will probably never matter. But it´d
still be a 5/5 with three relevant abilities. Once upon a time, that would
have cost seven to eight mana.

Mark Rosewater has talked about how in recent blocks, he has been trying to push interblock design.
I was thinking about it, and it doesn't really seem to me that Alara and Zendikar did very well on the issue of interblock compatibility, certainly not compared to the preceding blocks. Just compare:
- Time Spiral and Lorwyn: Time Spiral set up a lot of the tribes around which Lorwyn was ...
