Hellbent and Lions Eye Diamond

Yes, you have the play correct. Hellbent doesn't trigger at all, it's just a condition that's checked on resolution of the spell.

you're correct. you get priority in the declare attackers step after you declare attackers. when that happens, you can activate the goblin's ability and deal 3 damage.

Rise From the Grave
Published (2009-11-25 18:15:00)
Rise from the Grave doesn't care what the colour(s) you are playing or what colour(s) the creatures is. It only cares that it's targeting a creature in a graveyard.

Double Neg

No, not in this case. He can play Double Negative targeting just your Cruel Ultimatum, yes. But your copy of Double Negative counters his Double Negative. So your Ultimatum resolves as normal.

Hellbent and Lions Eye Diamond

Yes From the Dissension FAQ Quote: * If a hellbent ability of a spell is a self-replacement that changes the effect of that spell, the number of cards in its controller's hand is checked as the spell resolves. It is not checked when the spell is played.

Your question is very confusing.
The card simply does what it says. Mana pools don't empty. You can float mana from one phase to another, from one turn to another, etcetera.

Pretty much. The Grindstone itself doesn't kill you, you die on your next draw step or if they force you to draw with a card.

No. Your Swamps will still tap for .
All Yawgmoth does is give all lands (including itself) the Swamp subtype and " : Add to your mana pool." A land with two instances of that ability won't tap for .

No. No damage was dealt, so the ability doesn't trigger.

The equipment remains attached to the creature, but control of the equipment doesn't change. If you activate the equip ability again, you can move the equipment onto another creature.

You sure can, it's a "free" cost. No counters will be removed or placed on Tezzeret

Yes, of course. Every player has to get priority at least once before any
object on the stack can resolve.

Yes, that's true. Technically, you're not supposed to put two things on the
stack at the same time- you have to give your opponent(s) time to respond.

Not in that case. That is more of a buff than cheating since the opponent could have just said yes and Player 1 could only get that one remaining(or no) basic. Player 2 just assumed that he would lose after Player 1 said "Do I have to go through the motions?" and that was he decision. It's a bit below the belt, but is not cheating....

Either the game will go to time or you'll just mutually agree to draw when
you realize nothing can be done. No player is forced to do anything.

Ignite Memories vs. Infinite Life
Let's say I'm playing a game of Magic. Through some highly finite combo, my opponent has a quintillion life. I storm out for a hundred quintillion, and play Ignite Memories . What happens? Also, what if I storm for two quintillion? For all intents and purposes, my hand consists of a land and a Mogg ...

Garza Zol, Plague Queen
I've already sent an email to WotC notifying them that, as written, Garza Zol, Plague Queen does not work, as there is no such card as Garza Zol and we have established that Nicol Bolas and Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker are not the same card. Revealing a card twice.
I had a rules dispute to settle and I was unsure how to respond.
The scenario:
I have a Telepathy in play.
I have Cabal Interrogator in play, and am able to activate his ability.
My opponent has 5 cards in hand, all revealed.
I activate Interrogator with X = 3.
" Target player reveals X ...

Not really a rules question. But anything that does not allow the spell to be played or counters it should work.

doing that is perfectly legal, although it usually helps to have a way to cast it normally there's no rule that says you can't find a way to dump it in the GY and rise it
