Hmm, well, I think I finally settled on two different potential States SB's: Sideboard #1   3 Malakir Bloodwitch 4 Black Knight 3 Pithing Needle 3 Deathmark 2 Thought Hemorrhage If not then probably this: Sideboard #2   3 Malakir Bloodwitch 4 Black Knight 3 Pithing Needle 4 Deathmark 1 Banefire Any input would be wonderful.

After experiencing the Jacerator/Control matchups, I can say with confidence that we do not have to play around counterspells and prevention. It takes a heightened awarteness of the game states/etc, but the deck can regularly apply enough pressure to rid us of the need to play high-marginal cards like Banefire. Think about it this way: the decks that Banefire would come in against can pre-emptively counter it with Sunspring Expeditions, Cruel...

Nice work Goduerza, I like the banner. As for removing Ob Nixilis for Garruk, I don't think that's what Conley meant. In fact, I know it's not. He said he may remove 1 for the 4th Terminate , as he continually sided it in. However, he said nothing about wanting Garruk at any point. Also, several pros are taking Garruk out of decks, as many times, the untap two lands or make a beast isn't good enough when he just dies to...

Here's the most recent sideboard I'm running: Deck   3 Celestial Purge 4 Goblin Ruinblaster 2 Pithing Needle 2 Sunspring Expedition 2 Manabarbs 2 Relic of Progenitus I'm having some trouble working out the correct cards for the SB, and what number of slots they should take up. I want the full set of Ruinblasters and Purges there, but on the other hand I really don't know what else to cut. All the other cards are...

Lotus Cobra doesn't really seem to shine in this deck. I'd replace it with another 2-drop. Perhaps Jhessian Infiltrator? The Infiltrator would suck up removal so fast and if they don't have removal you can be swinging for 2 to the face every turn. Also, I think GSS is a DEFINITE sideboard card unless you guys are really sure that this deck beats Jund consistently without it.

I played the I Never Smile list from the opening post at FNM to a second place finish last night. My wins were against U/W/r control, Five Color Control (I won even after he played a Cruel Ultimatum), White Control, and Jund ramp. My only loss was to Soldiers who had Brave the Elements every time he needed it. I also tested against a U/b mill deck for seven games, winning all but one of ...
