Does vamps have a good matchup vs jund? Is it still tier 1? The matchup of vamps vs eldrazi green is very good, especially if you curve out into mind sludge-infact most decks cant beat vampires curving out into sludge.

has anyone tried MindBreak Trap against Jund? it stops their cascade and it also answers Stag. I'm just unsure because It costs an additional mana over doubNegs

My changes to that list were -1 Broodmate Dragon, -1 Terminate, +1
Maelstrom Pulse, +1 Resounding Thunder. In the board I switched Duress with
Great Sable Stag, -1 Jund Charm and -1 Pyroclasm for +2 Terminate. So far
I' m 8-2-1 with this list over the course of 3 tournaments.

I will be the first to post here. I hate mono red. I hate aggro. I am not a Spike player and could careless about Pro tour players. BUT , I do like to test against top tier decks ( so my rouge decks can try to beat them).
I have two mono red deck I have been testing against. the first Gobos and the second looks alot like the deck posted here. So I offer them as discussion pieces.

I really don't see a problem with, going from this sample decklist,
dropping 4 elite vanguard, and one skyfisher for 4 adventuring gear and a
kor duelist. Even on a steppe lynx or geopede you're going to be hitting
really hard when you start getting landfalls. A fetchland on an equipped
cat or bug is +8/+8. Or a fetchland/teetering peaks on Kor duelist gives
you 10 damage.

windstorm solves all problems flying creatures can do : you drop nocturnus, you loose, you drop broodmate (which is the only real problem jund have against elves with blightning)then you just wasted your turn, baneslayer sure is a real problem as long as you don't have an eldrazi monument or a windstorm in hand because you can't race against a 10 life point drop every turn, except with overrun. ...

The old thread for reference, lot of good ideas there.
Again, I want to stress, mainly because I was so against it, that PT is REALLY good, especially when paired with Scepter.

This ramp???? Well i do agree the ramp decks should go here. So that's cool.
Just dropped by to say in Naya colors Uril, the Miststalker is a house against Jund. Moreover if you play multiples of him, Soul's Majesty becomes an excellent card. Uril is also strong against control. the only things he doesn't like is DoJ, Martial Coup and Gatekeeper of Malakir.
