I got a ready-to-install notification of update to Windows XP SP3 at the system tray but I don't want to install it for the time being. How can I got rid of it while other future security upates will not be affected. My computer is running Windows XP Professional SP2 and IE7.

When I go to services: Automatic update properties, at startup type I goto Automatic and then Apply. At service status I hit Start. I get: Could not start the Automatic Update Service on local computer. i downloaded the above update and then it wouldn't allow me online anymore so i had to do a system restore to just before i downloaded it and now internet works any ideas to why it did this?
