Hi Mike,
You cannot install 2008 TS licenses on a 2003 TS Licensing
server. What you can do is install 2008 TS Licensing
directly on your 2008 TS--it does not need to be loaded
on a DC.

It is very unlikely that the user GP for initial app was not applied
intermittently. Is it possible that the application you are setting as
initial app failed to start? What is the behavior when you think initial app
GP is not applied â are you getting a full desktop or is the session getting
logged off. Winlogon will
log off the session in case it fails to start the
