OWA shows loading

After recreating it, everything should be just right, with the security settings configured in Exchange System Manager replicated to IIS Manager. The only thing you might have to change is the Require SSL setting. You can do this in office hours, since it won't affect your Outlook users. The only people who might be affected would be OWA users, but if it isn't working anyway ....? Since it involves...

Separate URLs for E2k3 OWA,...

Maybe this explains the issue better. Our current Exchange 2003 environment uses a single URL to access OWA, ActiveSync and RPC over HTTP. ISA server is not involved. The current URL used for all three, will be used for Outlook Anywhere once we implement ISA server with Exchange 2007 CAS. This means that we will be implementing two new URLs for OWA and ActiveSync. To give our large user base an opportunity to transition to the new URLs prior...

Don't try to publish multiple URLs with the Exchange 2003 solution. It can be hell to support and by your own admission will be decomissioned in the near future. I would engage some paid consulting if I were you. Firstly you simply don't need multiple URLs for all these services. Nobody will ever see the OA or EAS beyond the setup and with multiple URLs you're going to need multiple certificates. That's pointless...

I found the error: A night before we updated the virtual machine hardware an replaced the FlexAdapter with "new" virtual NICS. EVERYTHING worked still fine but this Exchange Active Sync thing died. Very strange. So we rolled the server back and voila. My advice: Don't replace the virtual NICs on a productive Exchange 2003 Server with exchange active sync clients < Message edited by...

On the FE server itself, accessing http://localhost/exchange gives me "The page cannot be found" - error 404. The vdir for /exchange is set up and pointing to \\.\BackOfficeStorage\domain.com\MBX. (in reply to uemurad )

Found the problem. My email domain was listed incorrectly in Exchange System manager. For anybody viewing this later, here is where to check: Exchange System Manager Expand Recipients Click Recipient Policies On the right, right-click default policy and select properties Click the email addresses (policy) tab Verify that your smtp domain is listed correctly. It should be "@domain.com" where...

If you are going to /owa, then instead of checking Default Web Site->Exchange->Properties , you should be checking Default Web Site->owa->Properties . If you go to /oma in a desktop browser, you will see the same very simple GUI that you see in any other device.

Haven't heard of this one... Can you determine if it's a one computer issue, or if it occurs with any IE8 installation? You could try enabling logs on the IIS for OWA, and connecting with the IE6 to see what happens, and then repeat the process with the problem PC. Maybe the logs will shed some light on the subject.

Switch on logging on OWA/IIS and try to see if there are any errors popping up in the log. They might hint at what's going on.

Hi, It looks like you've got a problem with your DNS: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/200525 So first resolve this issue and then try if owa works.

Does the new location of the FE server have full access to the BE servers? What's being allowed through the routing equipment (routers, firewalls, switches) between the two? The simplest variation (both servers in the same logical LAN whether physical or virtual) allows the two servers to communicate freely as well as to the Domain Controllers, Global Catalog servers, etc. What was ...

Sounds like a permissions issue. Is it just you that has that ability or does everyone in your organization see the same thing? Can you open every mailbox using Outlook?
