hrm.... actually not noticing better response times on my end but first impressions from win7 aren't that bad.... I can see myself booting into it to play games without hating every moment of it like I did with vista for the 2 weeks that I had it installed. Still keeping ubuntu as my primary OS on that system though.

Talking about gaming-rig here only. OF course DX10 or DX11 are both ridiculous reasons to upgrade, unless you wish to play the newest games. BTW good to see you again old man

I've been running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (dual booted with Ubuntu of course) for a couple months, I like it. It's basically what Vista should have been. Vista was a terrible operating system. If you're a Vista user, I highly recommend either upgrading to Windows 7 or downgrading to XP. If you're an XP user, you should give Windows 7 a try, decide for yourself. I run Vista aswell. My advice to you is to run the aimbot in XP SP2 compatibility mode and run as administrator.
