Bungie isn't punishing the better players, they're only punishing the dumber players. It's one thing to have the technical skill to be able to grab the out-pistol, out-BR, or glitch and it's another thing to rely on that skill to make up for your lack of foresight in game. Halo 3 is the way the game is played when you take it completely back to the drawing board....

You need to remember that you can be killed much easier and you can kill much easier. As to say don't run out to far in the open or you won't be able to make it back to cover. And ALWAYS shoot at people you see no matter how far across map they are because your shots will register. Also juggling the flag is faster than throwing it on LAN and no glitches ie one hit beat...

MLG could still use ports, it just depends on how and where they're placed. If they're glitched to where the person porting through can't sit behind the porter, then it could be viable.
