Dry carbon look belt line

Looks great! Looking at that last picture, I think it would look great if you tried to wrap the fender flares with the same vinyl. Is this possible or would you run into adhesion problems with the plastic?

We have a solution for the adhesion issues with this type of plastic. This is something that we may do with this MINI. We have a set of wheel arch trim in stock that we can wrap and mail out as cores, but the finished product would look incomplete without the rocker panels, and front & rear bumper skirts.

I prefer ViS.. just about everyone I know with CF on a mini is running ViS as well. ViS does come with a removable scoop (which you can easily sell ) As for the install, you do not have to cut or sand any CF, rather you might have to dremel out a few holes for mounting the headlights and grill, but its all into the underbody of the hood.. PM me for details on where to get a hood.

I'll sell you a Seibon, that's what we prefer as they seem to fit better.

Gauge Face Plates Project
Published (2009-12-13 21:36:00)
Hi Everyone. I just wanted to start a thread to show my progress for a little project I'm getting ready to under take. Being a college student, and a MINI enthusiast, it's hard to come up with funds for mods. One of them being a custom gauge face plate. I'm going to be designing my own and trying to find a way to have them printed/cut and installed. I would just like to ask if anyone can point me towards the direction of...

Post a link about your question. Sounds like you are talking about the bulbs though. If so any one will fit from a 2002-2004. Not sure if the 2005-2006 has the same bulb. If you are talking about the entire light assembly then any 2002-2006 will work.

Remove the under dash panel on the driver side. Then I usually take the center dash trim piece below the speedo off or at least loose Then pull the screws out the downtubes and remve. Now since you have an 05 you may have to pull the center console because sometime in 05 they changed the tubes so they flared at the bottom so they won't come out unless the console is out. If ...

I love this idea but have not done anything. It could be done but the hard part is the glass. I had a friend who chopped his bug many years ago and glass was always the problem. He was getting a new windshield about every two months. I would love to see a chopped MINI, even if it is only photoshop.

Dunno what exactly you're lookin at. I dont think Hella makes a replacement headlamp. Are you just looking to buy bulbs or the entire assembly? Anyways theres no difference between 03 and 04 headlamps. 05 was the facelift. If those are the ones you're looking at then yea, they'll still work.

The underpinnings aren't the same and if you look at the arches, the R56 has flatter arches that won't match up.

That looks to be quite the undertaking. Will you do the doors next? It might look silly with only splashes of silver between all the carbon fiber.
