im in the process of looking at an exhaust for my r53 mcs at the moment. milltek seems be a popular exhaust but it isnt cheap. Id like a twin system as apposed to a one box style but im not actually sure of the benefits of going with two over one. Noise wise i think the milltek sounds spot on. But i also like the sound of the one balled standard exhaust. If you need a development car, mines available.

I'd like to see an exhaust sold here in the US that was around $500 not $8-900 like I have seen.

they are 2 very different cars Depends what you want from the car TBH... If you dont need the space then get a mini, space is the only reason I would get the lexus out of the 2 options you mention. Mini can be a bit of a girls car depending on how it is spec'd up and what look it has going but there are alot of very mean/agressive/manly minis out there, you just need to give it a mans touch The tritec engine seems to be pretty solid by...

I'd be a little cautious about putting something like this from Ebay on my car between you and teh throttle control. You have no idea who programmed this and it could get ugly fast. At least Sprint Boost is a large firm that you can talk to rather than an EBay dude...... Personally I have driven a MINI with the sprint boost and it did a little but I can't see spending even the $170 on ...

come on guys i need some kind of responce..... I am saying I like the car but i need to know how the 04's hold up the S series. Also being in Miami beach it looks like a fun little ride to tear the streets up with and reek some havok . But so does the Is300..... the only question im having is reliability issues.... and being auto or manual.

I even started using a higher octane fuel on my cooper before I got my Checkmate and noticed a HUGE difference in response, consumption..pretty much everything. It stopped the car 'chuggin' as you pull away which really annoyed me!! couldn't go back to 95(only a last min resort!!)

i like the idea of 2 x 3" rolled outwards, always been a fan of the rolled out pipes. to be honest i absolutely hate the standard bottle top exhaust tips. Espicially when the car has an aero kit on like mine does. They just look like they are sitting too far back.

So the noise I heard today for the first time in the three days I have had my 02 S is the clutch which is what I suspected? I can hear what sounds like grinding and when I press in the clutch it is gone I thought it might be the springs on the pressure plate clutch feel good though no slipping and grabs when pedal just starts to rise.
