Maybe this scenario will be a lesson to the German government that you can't buy everything through dirty deals and back handed actions. For once, maybe the UK playing on a level playing field may have benefited them.

Its more of the HID conversions that are the problem. The sooner the MOT changes the better IMO.

They are as good as the people who work in that branch.
My experience of them is when a mate worked for one and he said they can be pretty strict on the MOTs as they made money from doing the repairs. Usually odd little things like headlamp alignment.
But again this may have just been the branch he worked in for a while.

Nissan X trail???
My aunt and uncle have a Terrano, and ok its the earlier 2.7 but it is alot more a truck than a car with its seperate chassis and beam axles. what about a TD4 Freelander or an X Trail, or CRV?

At least Vauxhall sold some Astras, which seem to be about £16,000 + now.
Then of course there's the Mini (Bini).
I can't like the Mini and i would never buy one, i don't like the chintzy look of the interior and i think they are overly "twee"and much more importantly nothing like the original concept but i'm quite pleased it's selling. How odd ?
contradiction? hypocrite? yes and yes ...

Understandable really, years and years ago the police kept fit by running after criminals and walking the beat now there job only consists of filling in forms and sitting in patrol cars arresting "dangerous criminals" a.k.a. motorists going 1mph over the limit that to expect them to change a tyre would most probaly be against there human rights .
