Well I finally got the letter today, filled it in saying I was the driver and my details. The other letter which shows a very easy to understand flowchart says I will be considered for a fixed penalty notice to save me going to court. If I offer the penalty I get the fine and 3 points, however I plan on getting in touch with the constabulary to see if my plea to avoid the points is appropriate. I will also ask them the significance of it...

It won't come down until your next renewal. You would have to terminate your policy in February, and then start with a new policy after your licence has reached its first birthday.
On a related note, my Father (who was an insurance agent) always recommended people to arrange to have a car policy start date on or just after their birthday, as insurance rates come down again when you reach ...

Firstly take your V750 document to a car dealer and pay around £15 - £20 for plates to be made up.
Then the easiest way is to take your V750, your V5C, your MOT, your licence, and your tax disc into your local DVLA office and get it done by a helpful DVLA clerk who will give you a new tax disc. If you...

There is nothing less stealthy than a car painted with blackboard paint, let alone that batmobile thing!
Stealth is a white transit, I could have enough weapons to start WW3 or a pile of corpses in the back and nobody would be any the wiser. Maybe I do.

MG ZR/S/T bodykit parts
Hey up all,
A pal of mine is looking at producing replica bodykit parts for MG ZR/ZS/ZT amongst other marques.
A few questions:
1) would there be much in the way of demand from .org for these parts?
2) copyright issues?? There are loads of replica parts around, how would we stand on this?

in my experience driving instructors are some of the worst drivers on the road. They teach new drivers to pass the test, not to become good drivers.
Also it is all well and good using indicators, I always use mine, but also just because someone is indicating a certain direction (or not indicating in most cases) you should not assume that is actually what they are going to do.
Being a biker ...

I agree. My partner had a Citroen Saxo 1.1 Desire previously. I found it really hard to drive myself. You almost press the brake and accelerator together. Another thing the Saxo seems to suffer from is the need to replace the clutch more then normal. My girlfriend had to change hers twice in 2 years.
I think I come to a conclusion why this was the case. If you think, the Citroen was made in ...

RAC have always been good to me, I too found the AA incompetent and my girlfriend found them really rude and condecending to her when she called up so we refuse to use them,
Also speak to your insurance people, alot of them will throw it in for a reasonable price (normally with green flag i think)
