FWIW, some of the automotive designers I've been speaking to reckon that SAIC in Leamington have done a very good job with the MG6. But - hey - what do they know...?

Frontal aspect looks a lot better in that pic than any of the others, which i think confirms what i knew all along, 1) it'll look better in the metal and 2) colour...

As a new model hopefully it will sell more than the MG Rover equivalent (I guess the 75, but was there one?) - say 50,000 a year. If that was a struggling outfit like MG Rover with only a handful of sales outside the Uk that would not be good enough to survive but as extra sales for a large company selling lots of cars in China it ain't bad - and enough for UK production.

Like the thinking on the Morris Minor idea - older cars being remoulded into a modern version such as the Mini, Beetle and Fiat 500 have all sold well.
I agree with Austin however do SAIC own the rights to that name or is it still with BMW? I would see if Morris is sucessful and have Austin as an entry level brand

That does look very nice for a tin top. I really do hope it does well in that sector but it has alot of competition and a bad badge in alot of peoples eyes. But hey if skoda can change people views on a badge then I am sure MG can too.

Do you mean you cant setup direct debits through your bank? You don't need your card details for this. All you need is the sort code and account number.

Looking at these on Ebay, looks like a lot of car for peanuts, i've had two Rovers and they've both been great, but are these good cars?
