My thoughts exactly.. I've already diagnosed it; I believe it to be a dodgy version of Cubase to blame - installed Abelton and works fine on there. Guess I'll just use Abelton for what I want to do. Thanks guys anyway! _________________ Cyan - www.myspace.com/cyanband < Prog? Rock? Prog Rock? Listen. NEW TRACKS UPLOADED! [Oct 2009]

I think it's rather awkward fault finding sight unseen, you might have to organize an I.T. pro to work through your problem. _________________ I have alot of problems with you people.

ATH-M50s without a doubt. Check the US sellers on eBay. You can get a pair for less than a hundred bucks. It's ridiculous, and they smoke most low/mid-range studio cans on the market. _________________

Really old/odd mic connections.

Those were the coaxial connectors that were used on cheap low-end (amateur) mics in the 60s and 70s. What the hell!??
I've just got an Akai MPD32 and I'm trying to get it up as a remote in Cubase SX but it just won't do anything.
It triggers notes fine when I route it through VSTIs, but I'm trying to assign faders and knobs to parameters but it just won't do anything.
I looked at this thing to get me started: http://www.espace-cubase.org/anglais/page.php?page =appcubmr13 ...

Hi Guys.
Was wondering what your thoughts were on mixing the the studio , and how it might translate to live mixing.
I've been mixing bands on and off for a while now, and I am by no means an expert, But i'm doing my best to get better. And feel i can pull a decent sound.
However I'de like to take my live sound mixing up a notch. But struggle to find enough "practice" ...

I've been using BFD and BFD XFL ( http://www.fxpansion.com/index.php?page=53&tab=148 ) for the last few years for demo's with all drum parts midi programmed. Especially for midi programmed parts (using Cubase Midi editor), the randomising functions for velocity and also timing in BFD helps creates a more realistic feel to the drum tracks. I also try to program the Hihat and ride accents into my ...

Am using jack to jack balanced HOSA.
Would it be worth trying jack to XLR.
