well, you should probably ask the company, but the pic may be generic. Of all the people I've heard install them, I've yet to hear of anyone needing to purchase any other parts or do anything but remove them from the box.

S-Class with 150k miles on clock?
Published (2009-11-10 10:11:00)
Its going to be a big change going from a M5 to an S320cdi.... Why not a 430 or 500? Theres nothing *wrong* with high mileage W220 if theyre service has been kept up, but why not look for something a little younger? My '00 has 43k miles on it, that has over 3 times my mileage. Yikes

My 740il has 169k on it and I have found that as the miles pile up you have to replace the cooling system parts, AC, and brakes. I say go for it at a good price because most of what I have described should have already been replaced once on the car you want. And 150k miles is nothing for these cars. They flip the odometer in mercs and bmw's all over the world except the US. We tend to buy nev cars every few years.

Got the brand new OEM compressor and replaced. Works like a charm. Shop was commenting to get the front seals replaced foro the shocks. $109 each for the job. Made an appointment to get it done. Front shock top was showing little cracks.

2005 S 500..Is it a slug??

I've already looked into a 2003 S600, that had light mods(chip, tune,lg intakes,lg intercooler)......but I ran away because of all the threads here about the suspension probs and computer glitches that may occur. I cant afford the maint costs of a V12....24 plugs etc.....

Inside Door Lock Pins ?

Actually, I WAS just pulling your chain - the response on the other forum warned of "purists" (which I tend toward, but not absolutely). I have no opinion either way on how it would look - and it's your car, so I'm the last person you need to keep happy.

I spoke with an Arnott rep this morning and they confirmed what you said, that no additional parts are required.

My guess is that your tranny fluid is low. You can't really check it yourself since there is a tab you need to replace and no real dipstick if I am correct. Just bring it to the dealer or an Indy and have them look for you.

They look great on the car! Hopefully the quality is on par or greater than the original AMG wheels though. Good choice IMO!

I tinted my '00 a medium black, within restriction of state law. Be careful: a solid metallic sheet on the rear window will cost you most of your radio reception. I use metallic tint, but the installer had a W220 template and cut out individual pieces so as not to cover the antenna wiring embedded in the glass.
Also, be extremely careful of water dripping into the doors as it is ...

How hard is it to replace air compressor?
I am suspecting my issue with airmatic is in the compressor. How hard is this to replace and where is this located?
