To remove the film, simply mix a solution of alcohol and apply on it and peel. Finish by apply goo-gone or similar safe solution to the left over residue. The material is self adhesive and will require some patience of the installer. Is it worth the money? In my opinion, yes. It looks much more aggressive and protects the headlamps from yellowing and chips.

Have you guys looked at whether or not your cabin filter is time for a replacement? NYC does have some nasty air when compared to the rest of the US. It wouldn't hurt to pop the cabin filter out to take a look and see if it smells like that "wet dog" of yours.

C300 Sport (w204) ESP off
Published (2009-11-10 18:33:00)
Yeah, turning the ESP off with the button only prevents the car from controlling the throttle...it will however, still try to control the car through the brakes which is why you are getting that feedback... wish we could turn it all off without disengaging ABS as well...

ESP is never 100% off with the button, you have to go into the secret menu to disable he ESP.... but your ABS etc. will also go off.

there are curb rash kits or you can pay around 200-250 to have it refaced...assuming the damage isn't too substantial. Keep in mind, if getting a badly damaged wheel fixed (bent or misshaped) they will heat the wheel in order to reform it properly. Reheating a wheel will contribute to loss of integrity. It will NOT be as strong as it once was. good luck.

What are the gains on a C300 ? (whp/tq figures?)
And is there a difference in what gets done between Kleeman and renntech?

There is none available for our car. Some will say "our C Classes already have CAI built in" but I dunno simply no one manufactures a good one for our cars. The one you posted is a cheap one that has had many bad reviews with shooting warm air in the engine rather than cold.

I would totally let the dealership do this install just to remove any liability issues in a life or death situation where the airbag would need to deploy. Any failure to deploy could shift that liability onto you if you do it yourself.
