Thanks guys for the update. BC: before you install the new shocks, will you do me a favor? Stand inside your trunk and try to push your car up and down by moving your hips. I get a very audible noise inbetween each compression and rebound stroke. Attached is a sound clip recorded from inside my car.

Do you feel the money was a well spent upgrade? Did it introduce more oversteer or understeer compared to the OEM setup? If the settings are set at the middle stiffness, is the car still daily drivable? This means sustained rides on the freeway for a good distance. Was it a bitch to get everything installed and working properly to the specifications you were looking for?

We also did not see any big problem replacing the 2nd hose section when we did the challenge lines on our E92 M3. Anyone else do it themselves here say it was beyond their ability by chance?

Ok folks my updated rear shocks are in. The good news is that they are silent! The bad news (for me) is that my new springs are too long and my car is sitting higher than stock. I propose that anyone who purchases this kit going foward buys us early adopters a beer for all of the time that we have invested. I'll be up to install #4 for the rear when I get the right springs. I recommend that anyone on the fence for these hold off a bit...

I completely understand that their has to be compromise. I won't be able to get an all out track pad that is great for street driving but I am willing to compromise the end of both spectrums to be able to take the M3 to the track. The challenge is that with the amount of days I do at the track I would be changing pads twice a week in the summer if I have track only pads!

Coilovers wont damage anything, they replace the shocks. If you don't track the car often, its a waste of money.

well you will have to get to the bottom and top of each shock... so reach under your car on each corner... and pull off trunk lining inside to get to top of rears.. the top of the fronts are the easiest... most the adjustments are done with a tiny little allen key... i wouldnt call it hard but i wouldnt call it easy.... but time consuming sure.. and sometimes you have to be carefull ...
