I highly doubt Halo will be GotY. Halo games generally have weak single player modes, but some nice multiplayer setup. I can't think of a recent GotY that has won it purely on it's multiplayer (was COD4 a GotY?).

You forgot the #1 - Bioshock.
You also forgot Halo 3, Little Big Planet, Uncharted 2, and Fallout 3
On your list, I would remove Killzone (not the blockbuster it was supposed to be and didn't live up to hype), Left 4 Dead, and Demons Souls (Niche game).
I also would personally put Borderlands on there.

360 is the easy choice. Especially when you mentioned racing games since Forza 3 just recently came out. You can meet a few of us online racing for fun every Thursday.
