QUOTE(kaiserks3338 @ Nov 7 2009, 08:23 PM) Both yes Hmm, well in that case, I think performance wise, you cant get better bang for your buck than the suggested AMD custom build. But if you really want ultimate peace of mind without the hassle out troubleshooting your system and the complications that come with that, then I suggest taking the Dell. Still, it's your quid, so your call.

3.6 to 3.8 is quite common for 720. CM Hyper 212 is quite good for its price.

QUOTE(InFe_eD @ Nov 7 2009, 09:04 PM) Yeah, but getting a LGA775 system now seem kinda moot considering a good C2Q like Q9550 already cost nearly 1000 bucks QUOTE(InFe_eD @ Nov 7 2009, 10:45 PM) That's why I argue that going for i5 from scratch is the better choices. Especially considering P55 board and ddr3 should drop in price the next decades. Ps: Glad that you're finally posting something that are constructive...

the x3 720 is half the price of a i5 750,of course the i5 is faster..... for gaming you have to find a balance between gpu and cpu power.however you should make it biased towards gpu power
