With the GT40 the Atom kept a tight line and did not change the normal line for that turn (for the GT40). In out braking him he presented himself to make the pass. Yeah he stuck his nose in there but didn't press the issue. The pass on the 211 was very clean (with help from the 211 driver). Didn't really see anything that stood out on the rest. Sears Point is a tough place to pass and most of them looked like normal passes that were...

FYI, Hooked on Driving grabbed an open Thunderhill track date for Oct 30. David Ray (owner/organizer) tells me that the field is looking to be quite small ("a virtual private track day"). Great opportunity for newbies who want a low-pressure atmosphere for learning (including fewer cars to negotiate around!), and for more advanced drivers who simply want to get in a bunch of clear laps. Decent video of the Exige S having a good time (1:22.2s best lap) with worked-Mustang, a BMW, and a Lotus 7 (very quick driver in the 7). I had the opportunity to meet a couple of Lotus guys (Chris, Jason, and Mike) and another guy, Rob. Good guys, great time at Putnam. I played with the shocks a bit and messed with tire pressure all day. Finally was able to take off just about two seconds from my last day at the track. Enjoy the video. Lap...

My friend is speaking with Nitto, He is a rep for them and I am trying to get them to make stock sizes of the NT01 for the Elise and Exige. Would a 205/50/16 and 225/45/17 be good?

Thanks, I suspected I might be running a bit too high since my R888's are showing more wear in the center. I generally don't have a helper, so I take my pyrometer readings the moment I get to the paddock, so it's probably around a minute after finishing my hot lapping. I'll drop the pressure a little bit and see how it goes.

Yeah, that was me, I was bedding in new brakes that session.
I lapped him three times in the next session and won the race.
It is not often that you see such a mix of cars in the same race that was an interesting day
The Atom driver had a very interesting moment at about 5:30 and is lucky to have not needed a new car, there is a wall right where he would have ended up.

Yeah, that was me, I was bedding in new brakes that session.
I lapped him three times in the next session and won the race.
It is not often that you see such a mix of cars in the same race that was an interesting day
