Hi all, If you're interested, Club Lotus Northwest is meeting Tuesday night (15-Dec-2009) at MacTarnahan's Taproom . The Monthly Membership meeting starts at 6:30p and last anywhere from an hour or two. It's mostly a sit, eat, and talk cars meeting. Nothing particularly structured or heavy. You could stick (double-stick foam tape) or that stuff from 3M a pair of hinges onto the plate area, and screw the bottom of the license plate onto the hinges. That way you can remove the whole thing if you want (no holes in the body). It also allows the plate to 'scrape' on the ground without ripping anything. The hinges (cabinet hinges) would allow the plate to flip along as it scrapes the ground.... I have that setup on my Citroen...
