My pump module was so tight that even with the tank out of the car I broke the entire flange off of the unit trying to pry it upward and no way could I have gotten it out while trying to reach in the cavity with a screwdriver. I also am not a fan of the amount of cutting I have seen on the chassis to make room to extract the module through the chassis instead of dropping the tank. But if you get lucky and can get the module loose and are...

Here's what it looks like. There is no washer as was discussed in the thread. The hex bolt fits tightly and seems to be natural. I've taken it out and put it back several times and even bleed the pipe. I'll keep some tools and splice parts in the car for a few weeks, just in case

I put the car in the air just to check out the "other side". Yes, there is nothing there. ;-) I went thru the whole climate control system and I can't find the cause of the problem. I'll have to take it in and try out service @ Premier Lotus in Branford, CT. I believe it has to be either the rheostat (sp?) or one of the actuators. Thanks for all the help folks! AK

I have an '05 Elise that has a steering wheel that is not centered. The natural position is at 1 or 2 o'clock. Will this be corrected if I go in for a standard 4-wheel alignment?

Radiator Question - 4 new posts
Started 1 month ago (2009-10-08 16:20:00)  by rdomi
First, I just bought a 2008 Elise S/C. This my first Lotus. God, I just love this car! On 9/27 @Mid Ohio I had a sudden coolant leak. Coolant splashed all over the windshield,so, I loaded up the car, came home and took it to the dealer. I had split a seam on the drivers side of the radiator. They covered it under warranty. My question is: Is this a simple defect or is it something I should worry ...
