I'll be heading out today to try to put some serious miles on mine. I have less than 200 and am still breaking it in, so they won't be real fun miles. I doubt I'll hit 1,000 before spring, plus it's an Exige, not an Elise....but if you still wanted a ride, we could probably meet up sometime.

I will valet... but ONLY for the better parking spot and I still drive the car. Somewhat defeats the purpose of the valet, but if it gets my car in a safe place I'm for it.

Does anyone know if the new Britax Parkway SG child booster seat fits in a Lotus Elise? I've read the threads about the Britax Bodyguard fitting very well but it is no longer available. It says the Parkway SG is 17 inches wide, will that fit in an Elise seat?
Thanks,
David

High Mileage Elise - What to look out for?
I'm thinking of looking at a high mileage '05 Elise that is for sale.
It has about 55,000 miles.
Is there anything in particular that should I look out for other than what I have outlined below?

im hopefully doing the opposite. 400+whp evo to an exige.
you gotta admit though, the evo is a whole lot of car. and compared to a lotus, its very practical. this is all based on if you have a evo 8 or 9. the X might as well be a bmw

I don't have one but autocross my friend's sometimes. It really needs some springs/shocks or coilovers to lower the stance. The factory suspension is really soft and make the car look like a 4X4. Other than that it's pretty capable right out of the box.

Hi....and welcome. There are a few people that live downton. No real issues...
Drive it like you would a motorcycle, assume no one can see you, don't parellel park....it would really take the right reason to drive downtown for something. hey all,
So I have been looking for good winter tires for about a month now since the only car I own is my elise and i have to get to work somehow.
the 3 companies i know that make good winter tires, (bridgestone, dunlop and michelin) don't make the right size as far as i can tell. I run the LSS so my tire size is (Front:195/50R16 | Rear:225/45R17)
