Obviously, the best moment of the season was the ninth inning in Boston. That was the best moment in Angel history since game 7 '02. Another memorable moment was when we had all 9
batters in our line up at or above .300. It was definitely a peak though as they immediately went into a funk following it. it really would have been something if they had sustained it for more than a few innings....

Apparently Scioscia and Butcher think they can get him to cut down on the walks he gives up. The guy is intimidating with his 100MPH
fastball.

A trend is beginning to be realized in much of MLB. The Lackey contract could be the last biggy. The last year of his contract is for
minimum salary IF...IF..he has arm probs the year before. Something like that. Five years for a pitcher going on 32 is too risky. Zambrano is even riskier and costlier.

I guess we'll see. I'd feel better about committing $1mil to
Escobar than $11mil to Rodney.

Let's hope they both sign in the NL (Mets and Cardinals). Keep them away from the Mariners, Red Sox and Yankees.

I'd trade GMJ for anything............especially pitching. the only thing I wouldn't do is take on more contract than we owe GMJ. he's
wasted money sitting on our bench.

I think the Angels should have looked at Escobar closely. They more than anyone know what to look for when he is healthy. If healthy, we all know he can pitch with the best of them. He has as much upside as Sheets or any of the other injured...making a comeback pitchers out there. He can start or relieve...I wish the Angels would have signed him to a minor league contract and see what ...
