Don't think the novels ever mention. No sourcebook I ever read mentioned it, but that might mean there is one I just haven't read that does have the info.

I would say SLDF Era mechs before the Jihad. IIRC, there was a SB printed that linked the Wolverines to WoB, but I can't remember the name. Plus I believe they were annihilated for using a nuke on civilians.

My gaming group had a lot of MWDA figures (they are pretty cheap if you do the right looking) and printed up larger hex maps. You can get all the clan mechs pretty much, along with all the inner sphere ones. Plus they are already painted if you don't care to deal with that aspect of it.

Now if they were only equipped with NERF launchers........

Looks like a defective book. For the Solaris Maps you might want to find the Solaris 7 set; 1660 Solaris VII GM book, 1660 Solaris VII Player book and 1660 Solaris VII Maps set.
