step below the CL in both govt. level and salary. The only incentive would be to extricate Ed from a hopeless minority status in the Legislature to a majority status on the board but with Walsh cooperating with Lesko and the Democrats does that really hold water? This smells like a selfish JJ LaValle act to me? On the Democrats side, its Republicans Hennessey or Lupski, I see no bench there either!

Great point whathe. Name recognition is important but it can be generated overnight. Lesko happened to be a quality candidate. Luckily the dems had the resources to give him a solid campaign.

i don't think it's a selfish act at all, i think it makes alot of sense, Ed Romaine is a easy win for the repubs, will not have to spend alot of dollars on the campaign which is important at this point, and also Ed will be a power to be reckon with on the board even if he is in the slight minority which could shape alot of things for the next cycle on the town level, Ed would be a very strong balance to Lesko, and if Lesko does like...

In the past I would sometimes on occassion pull the lever in the voting both for the WFP. Because I thought it would be a way to help get additional parties into the political mix. Then I found out they how close they were affilated with a group like ACORN. Never again will I make that mistake of voting for anyone who is endorsed by WF and I try and educate other voters about the group and it's affliation with ACORN.

He would have to move into the district by the start of the term, which I believe is January 1st.

I'm very new at this and live in the area but you do make sense about the issues and after hearing 2 debates I agree with either one or the two major candidates and not have a like-able person decide the outcome of this election. This is very important to me and my family because I have been seeing such decline in the value of this district. I'm very young and respect Ron Lupski's values for ...
