It's a hidden file. In Windows Explorer do Organise-Folder and Search Options-View-Show Hidden Files and Folders. Thank you Gordon and Roady, SUCCESS Easy when you know how. I am sorry, I didn't find a way to start a new thread in this forum. I
searched the pages with the browser search for words like thread, new, post,
ask, question, and others alike, but nothing. Either I'm blind or it is quite

BT has responded, but his response is not on the MS Group site.
Thanks for your suggestions, but this is an Exchange connection, not POP or
IMAP, to a corporate server. I cannot find the current OWA page, but I'm
still looking.
And I'm not sure how to do the other actions you suggest.
Also, the title question has been avoided as well.

I don't have Outlook 2000 in front of me \(I don't maintain VMs that go back
that far\) but if you go to Tools | Options | Other | Advanced\(?\) you will

finally the messages stopped arriving... and ll/05/09 messages are there so
at least i am current. i will try to figure out what happened. the
messages that were in the inbox now were saved in a pst file on another hard
drive other than the one outlook was on. at least i am retired now so have
lots of time to sort out the messages... charlie

As far as I know, you can't use rules on sharepoint lists. You can't apply
them based on the folder but if there was a condition \(ie subject\) that you
could filter by, its worth trying.

What mail server and version are you running? Reason I ask is that I cannot
duplicate this issue when running a POP3/IMAP connection against Exchange
2003 SP2.
