The English and Dutch ships scattered the Spanish ships. They sent fire ships into the anchored mass of floating wood off Belgium/France -
Battle of Gravelines. They headed north in the North Sea where they never had any charts ans unsuited for the weather.

Vision taken through camera lense
But image looks painted by hand
Firey reds and crisp golden glows
An artist mixing their

Fuzzy blend colours mix and twist
Sponged paints dabbed on canvas
Blade scrapes in darkened trunks
Your beauty captured yet still free
Free to grow and change each day
Never trapped except by imagination

Needles of ice infest everything
Killing the weak and vulnerable
Hardening all that it touches
Coating landscape, stealing colour
But it brings a strange beauty
Patterns formed by frosty crystals
Sunlight sparkling all around
Clear blue sky pure and clean
Gone the dull and dreaky days
Muddy walks ...
