Yes there is. The question is about a game, and hes willing to upgrade to 64 bit. but this is all moot because the games probably 32 bit and is limited to 2 gigs, regardless of wether youre running 64 bit and regardless of motherboard and regardless of anything else so thats the answer nothing else to talk about Quote: Originally Posted by noxomus the answer to the OP is that: 1. No problem....on the forums, go to your "User CP" tab and on the left, there should be an option for "edit ignore list".

All you can do is put them on an ignore list, you cannot block them from posting on threads.....at least not in the forums.
If you're talking about the main site, you have to click on that person, go to their user page and somewhere on the right is a "block user" option.

From my understanding, it's time your computer uses to catch up on necessary tasks. The advice I've gotten on it, is to just let it do it's thing.
There's been times, though, when it has slowed my computer to a crawl, but I just upped my RAM and that seems to have quelled the problem.
Just out of curiosity, how much RAM are you running?

Off hand I do not, but you should check out sourceforge.net. It is an excellent site for "free"ware. www.sourceforge.net

Virtual memory 16 terabytes 4 GB
Paging file size 256 terabytes 16 terabytes
Hyperspace 8 GB 4 MB
Paged pool 128 GB 470 MB

My friend was part of the beta run (unofficially). It is much better than Vista, but still not as good as XP nearly was. If your hardware is older than a year ... forget it. It's gonna take around 30% of system resources to provide the desktop ... so you better have plenty of RAM and such.

Now is about the time someone will ask you something like "which video was that on?" or "what browser are you using?", as if it's some isolated event that happens only to you.
