Depends on the school and how much they want you.  I had a friend hear back very, VERY early... but then again, he probably could have gotten into any school he wanted to. Anyway, I did have to wait until April-ish to hear back from my schools.  Just depends really on how their application process is. And if they mail them outon Dec 15... it depends on what priority they mail it.  You might get it the next day... or...

That's all going to be dependent on the school that you applied to, their admissions schedule, and your location in relation to theirs. People that are in-state for the school could hear as early as the 16th of December, while for out of state applicants, it could be a few days. Sometimes the letters come a bit in advance of when they say they will. As far as regular decision admissions results, that will depend on whether the school has...

I applied to a school, and they said that admissions decisions would all be mailed out by December 15. So, when do you think I'll get them? On that day? And, for all the schools that I applied regular decision to, do I really have to wait until April for the results, or will I see them earlier?

honestly the art institute is iffy in my book. a lot of my peers have tried with them and given up. if you're not looking to get in and out quickly, try an actual university's art/design program... they're usually better just because of the amount of money and students in them.
