Save the world, the purpose of text speak is to condense, not to use the simplest vocabulary you can. That's why acronyms are used instead of full length words, not because they're lazy. The average conversation isn't a philosophical debate over whether Nietzsche's ideas or correct, they're usually just talking about every day things. ------- 夢 見 て た あ の...

In Pygmalion Henry Higgins spoke to people living in the streets of London about how they were committing , "the cold blooded murder of the English tongue." None of you are living in poverty. I'm looking to marry an Egyptian man this summer, but I am only 17. On the american embassy of egypt website, it says that we can legally marry if I have someone spprove the marriage for me. It says my parent, guardian, or someone in loco parentis. What does this mean particularly? Could I have his mother or father approve? ------- Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah.

We're doing the Amber spyglass as a play in school and I got the part of Mrs. Coulter. My drama teacher wants me to get a posh, upper class (British) accent for it. Do you have any tips? I think it would be best if I speak that way in day to day life...I need it to become second nature to me. I can do a believable normal British accent, but the posh bit? Not so much.
