my story has by now arrived at the spectacular (at least for me) landmark of 25k words, without me really registering how it got there. i'm finding out a lot more about my own views than i'd like to by pushing the plot forward, it's a thrilling experience.

Is this supposed to be an analytical essay on a poem, or is it your poem complete with its own explication? I'm confused.

College Essay: Opinions?
Published (2009-12-04 00:52:00)
It's the essay that I will be sending to the colleges that I am applying to. Ask your doctor if you could start at a low dose, and see if you like it or not. It (adderal) really doesn't feel to alter my creativity. If anything it works for the better for me. But hey it's your choice haha. Thanks

Indifference
Published (2009-12-07 16:58:00)
Indifference is the only way to express the way I feel about the place I call home. The world is such an interesting place that keeps me in a state of constant change. As the perpetual downfall of my enthusiasm for the place that I once called, “Home”, I hear a distant bell that calls me away to another destination. These forlorn days of waiting and this hearts burning desire are so evident and bright in my eyes, that everyday stuck here is...

It was an article I made for bukisa.com , and since I hadn't posted here for a while, I should at least post this which will possibly get me active on the forum again.

Proof-reading of an essay
Published (2009-12-01 01:25:00)
hey IceM, I'm not going to repeat what the other's said, but they are absolutely correct. NEVER pose questions and then answer them immediately. If you can answer the question in one sentence, don't ask it... just answer it. If it's a central question (to your thesis) that will be answered over the course of your paper, then you can ask it. But it's really more of a rhetorical device that should be used sparingly....

The Princedom by the Sea
Published (2009-12-01 23:07:00)
Hello there, I'm beginning my new novella which centers around a young boy and his world, or at least how he perceives it. The central themes I'm trying to convey are loss of innocence and the beauty within the mind of children. I've written a short first chapter and would love your critique. Thank you! Chapter One The transparent rays of the sun shone down upon the field in which he lay. Flowers were all around him, forming...

Published (2009-12-04 02:52:00)
I'd me much obliged if anyone would proof read an essay I just wrote that needs to be handed in tomorrow (Friday) morning . Considering the time when I'm posting this it is unlikely that I'll get any responses. I realize that it's somewhat forced writing because it is but I'm primarily concerned with grammar at the moment, because I'm falling asleep and just can't think straight right now. The essay is on...

wow. i really dig the intro, great narrators perspective and great diction. The first sentence seems to me to be somewhat ungainly, just a note on the side. i can really feel the magic here. the second part is even better. the switch in perspective spices things up, and by the end i'm almost desperate to know what has happened to the couple's innocence inside one year. what has happened to the...

This is a great idea for a thread Jozy. Perhaps it will kick me in the a$$ and get me to write more. I wrote a poem last week.

This is very beautiful. I wish I could write like anywhere near this. You have a strong sense of how to say things. Like what words to use and exactly how to arrange them. Thanks for sharing this.

it is my belief that every single book ever to be written is already out there, just waiting for a fertile mind to bring it into reality. the more you read, the more you comprehend, the more you grow mentally, until you reach the point where simple reaction to input in form of literature no longer fulfills your needs in that request. So, as a superior form of reaction, you create something ...

It sounds more like a speech class presentation than an essay. What's the class? And it's really cool that you've overcome your problems with ADD. I'm currently not medicated for my ADD. I guess I have a phobia of meds tampering with my creativity.
