Hi, I just registered an account and posted in the Linux Games section about a new native Linux game which has been released. My account was promptly closed with the reason 'spammer' - I though that forum was for talking about linux games and thus it would be appropriate to post details of its release in there (I've done so in other linux forums such as the Ubuntu ones as do other developers). If that isn't the appropriate...

I noticed since the left side pane appeared on the forum there's a gap between the thread title and the contents. Like this: Not sure if it's related. I'm using Firefox 3.0.3 on a 64 bit Ubuntu Hardy. Cheers

In our user details we have a variety of different messaging protocols in which we can enter our personal accounts -do you think we should throw in XMPP/Jabber? While I wouldn't call it the protocol of the people, it's the only protocol I use.

i have a suggestion. there are no "linux embeded applications", -main forum area- on this site. also there could be linux embeded news articals. another is "linux wearables", forum area. i also did'nt see a "small distro" forum area, such as dsl, puppy, single floppy boot etc... Thanks!

I used to get exactly this happen to me. Since I have changed over to the open dns servers, it hasn't happened once! It maybe coincidence but I'm not complaining OpenDNS | Providing A Safer And Faster Internet

I'm not a fan of it either. ozar , thanks for the heads up on the element hiding extension. It doesn't actually *remove* the sidebar, however. It simply hides it from view, and the forum threads are still squished to the right. I also think this sidebar should be optional, if the technology exists in vBulletin.
