Where can I find the code for the keypad on the door of my 98 Mark? It doesn't seem to be on either side of the trunk lid. Probably a feature I would never use, but it would be nice to know. Thanks.

Now that makes sense, I wonder if the housing would be rebuildable or if it's scrap. Sorry about all the questions but I am not that familiar with transmissions.

If I had remembered the discussion correctly, the 9500 was longer and slimmer than the D2 bulbs. I don't think it was possible to get the focal point of a D2 with an adapter to match that of the 9500? Ekooke had done a good deal of research into that area, IIRC.

I was going to tell you before the end of the thread to look at the battery cables and post terminals. Here is a run down on what happens. The starter draws a lot of current. If the cable connections have poor contact area, voltage drop becomes very high and is why the dash, interior light etc go dim out or off. The lead at the poor connection area actualy melts from the heat generated and can refuse as good until several starts melts it again...

It's been said here and on other boards that AZ gives a lifetime warranty because you'll spend your lifetime replacing it.

I never heard of such a tranny problem???
As far as the engine is concerned, yes the '96 will work. Keep the wiring harness, intake and sensors from the '94. The '96 is OBD2 and has components that are '96 specific such as the IMRCs.
It would be best to get 2 engine stands and pull both motors. Take the '96 down to short block status and transfer over the rest from the '94. You could keep ...

I had this problem with my 97. Make sure the area under the passenger cowl/wiper area is not clogged as that is a direct opening to the passenger side. It is right over the blower also.

I think it is on the passenger side trunk hinge, not sure but I believe that is where I seen mine while I was putting the whole front end in the trunk.

An original 93 4r70w would be unwise to install - Even an original 95 4r70w has "issues" - I just redid my 96 doing all labor myself, with upgraded hard parts from newer 4r70w, new cooler, new TC, new U Joints, new Starter, new O2's, etc,,, I had about $2K in it - You should take some time & "absorb" this Article before proceeding:

Odds are places can still make them, they just don't promote them. Or maybe they sag way too much and it was a bad idea.

Hey pro you can butyany tumblar for your car and disassemble it and take the pins and springs out of your old one to have it work with the same key. Just make sure everything goes in the same way it came out.
Did this on my 95 conti, and on both doors of my 79 conti. My 95 had the same problem as yours, minus the electrical part acting up. My 79 had the illuminated entry bezel lights go ...

I replaced them with RandomTech cats (expensive!) when I went with headers. They are far better in the flow department than stock, but the BIGGEST problem is the "pup" cats (that's the correct term) that are connected to the stock exhaust manifold. IIRC, the little cats neck down to less than 2" in the middle..bad, bad news!

Hate to be such a jerk, but that's probably not the right move either. Please don't do this. The module probably can't be tested alone, it has to be connected to the system and the entire system is checked with a computer scanner. (the scan plug is behind the passenger headlight in a red box that says ABS TEST)
I'd go back to your mechanic and ask for the SPECIFIC brake code that was ...
