Hey guys so Ottawa has been hot they past few days. My ac is weird it somtimes works and then somtimes blows hot air. I always used normal ac wheni put it to max ac it somtimes wouldn't work. I did the test codes where 025 and 125. I looked to see whats the codes are and i dont know how to fix the problem any ideas?

I noticed my headlights are flickering. when i give it a little gas, it stops, but then continues flickering when the car is idoling. The battery and alternator are new. Could this be a voltage regulator? cheers, Brendan

Can someone please help me identify these hose for me? I went to Kragen and they say it's probably y a dealer item. I don't want to try completely disconnecting it before i have a correct replacement. It is that little piece of hose with clip on it next to the IAC valve and the other end of it goes to some kind of valve on the firewall. http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m......

One of the Second shift guys drives a 92?? His compressor just gave out, he will probably go for poverty coils if he fixes at all

thats what i was scared they might be. that would explain why they dont have actual pix of the "chip"

I am thinking of customizing my exhaust. i just don't understand one thing. Why the h*ll are there four catalytic converters? What is the Point? has anyone put Cherry Bombs and Headers on a Town Car? If so, what do you thing?

Well, another week another trial for the 93 tc. Being a northern car, I had to have the fuel line replaced last year due to rust, and I figured the brake lines would need replacement soon. Well, after 167k my 1995 TC has has it's first Check Engine lamp problem. I get code 0402, which Autozone says I need an EGR valve. The car starts hard when warm at times. At times it idles poorly, but it runs fine. My car burns the usual amount of oil for these cars (1 qt every 1,000 miles). My 94 TC has developed a performance issue whereby you can feel the engine "lug" when it shifts into overdrive. It's most noticeable when you are cruising on the highway and you encounter an upgrade that puts some extra strain on its 4.6. Other then that it seems to start and run fine, as always. i currently have a 1996 ltc with 181000 miles on it...i only run mobil 1 5w-30 synthetic. i usually change the oil every 3500 miles. to keep the oil topped off, i use abt 2.5 qts between a fresh oil change and 3500 miles when i change it again. no smoke, no leaks, etc. is this normal oil consumption or should valve stem seals be in my future? thanks.

I'm doing the Transmission fluid change by dropping the pan and draining the converter. However, I don't see the bell housing for the converter plug neither do I see the metal magnet in the oil pan. Are those only for AODE's or is there something I'm missing and I am able to drain the converter on my 91 AOD?

As previously disclosed. 1) Small coolant leak back of engine. 2) Pulled alternator found metal pipe to back of water pump. Other end of pipe with bracket NOT ATTACHED to rear of engine because holes on bracket did not line up to block holes.
