Im quite a few paychecks away from 10.90's. Things arent as good as they used to be. How much more does an M7 weigh compared to a fox body mustang in the same trim ( drag race set up, no a/c, p/s, one race seat, weld wheels, etc..?) Please dont flame me for ruining a collectors item , because this one was not a gem by far and was not worth restoring to stock. Now the white one that is on my list will be pampered and left stock. Can the...

The overhead display unit has been brought back from the dead. The burnt section of PC board was cut out, all three 100uf 35v capacitors replaced and the traces that were damaged have been hard wired back in. So far so good, it works like new and the compass seems to be accurate too. I went through my "hybrid" trip computer and couldn't find any bad caps in it. The more I look into it it seems as though the older...

So mech. said system checked out fine Voltage regulator, alternator, and battery along with all wiring were good. Battery was just under the amp. range needed to turn it over. He charged battery-system is holding strong. No issues. Cleaned up a bit of corrosion on positive terminal-but no need to replace the cable he said. Very strange-no answer on this one. I do not feel comfortable driving it with this conclusion. I am thinking it might be...

don't hold me to any of this, but it may provide some hints.
The manual shows a drain tube leading down through the door pillar. The hose(s) ends slip onto a nipple up at the sunroof. There is a notation about an adhesive at that nipple. (a tiny little spring-type hose-clamp might work too)
Instructions for hose replacement are to first pull the headliner down to gain access to the upper end...

You need to tell the computer about the bigger injectors with a tune.
Edit: I just noticed it's a Mark VII, not VIII. Dunno, though I still think a tune would be required to tell the puter about the new injectors.
