As stated earlier, don't let your trifflin' experiences color the whole spectrum of PA recipients. Just like I don't let some idiot white people and some idiot black people color my experience for them as a whole. I take each person as they come. It's called grow up.

What 85% of people are you talking about liking their health care? Well Americans LIKE their HEALTH CARE, when they can get it. But they don't like what they're having to pay for it and they don't like being denied coverage by their insurance companies when they're paying astronomical premiums off the top! You're waaaay out in left field on this. On the right side of the left field, of course. You're always...

The right's harping points: unemployment, job losses, deficit spending - all of a sudden important under Pres. Obama. Well let's take a look at some of those things under bush and Obama: The 2010 Elections: I'm looking forward to the 2010 elections. We need them. Many dread how badly the election is shaping up. Commentators predict double digit Democratic losses in the House and further retreat from the sixty vote threshold in...

You are an ignorant person. I wish you well in your journey, but secretly I hope and pray that as a person you have an awakening. To know what it is like to suffer poverty level incomes. Or God be good, know what it's like to be not able to work, and having to do without! Teri

To me this isn't a walfare issue or a "entitlement" issue. People who are on medicare or medicaid have it for medical needs. How many of us had to go through their insurance and prove that it is a medical "need" in order to get covered? Well whether you like it or not medicare and medicaid is a type of health insurance so if YOU get covered for a medical neccessity, why can't they? If you ...

Well, I can't speak for all liberals but this liberal doesn't hate Sarah Palin. This liberal thinks one of the great things about this country is that Sarah is free to think and believe in what God she see fit. And scream it from the rooftops if she sees fit. However, this liberal doesn't think she has the educational requirements/knowledge base to run the country.

[QUOTE=pattygreen;1376977]P. Kennedy, D-R.I., says that he is prochoice, but still a good catholic. The Bishop begs to differ. Traditional prolife catholics are supporting the bishop while liberal dems and much of the main stream media (suddenly showing a deep reverence toward matters of faith, who knew?) are claiming the bishop is out of line. A Providence newspaper printed various opinions of ...

You are being lied to by Insurance Companies. Single Payer will provide more choice and more cost savings to the average household. The only group that will suffer form this are the Insurance Carriers, and they will tell you every lie they can to stop it from being implemented. I don’t have a lot of sympathy for these companies . Hi Wheetsin, Great poll! I think breastfeeding in public is perfectly fine. A draped shawl or cotton blanket for modesty is nice, otherwise it seems a bit showy -- "look at me! I'm breastfeeding! I dare you to challenge me about it!" Plus I wouldn't want my boob open for anyone to see! I don't think I would feel comfortable about showing myself without a blanket. Interesting to see what sort ...
