Had a great day today. More swelling gone down. Another pair of dress slacks fit and back hurt minimal today. Usually by end of day of work I was reverting back to walking bent some. I have forgotten what it feels like to have restriction. It's been since June since really felt restricted. Drinking my morning spark i tried to gulp and got the painful hiccups. At lunch I thought I could eat a piece of string cheese and didn't chew...

Allie, I tried to sneak onto my moms scale when she was out but it doesn't have batteries. Thwarted! I emailed my docs to find out how much came off in surgery and they said pathology hadn't gotten back to them yet. Thwarted again! I'm gonna say I lost at least 15 lbs of tissue given the drastic change in my blood volume (13.5 to 9.9). And I'm sure my lack of appetite is forcing my body to use reserves to heal and is...

It was fabulous to meet you today, Lellow! Thank you so much for coming in and comparing notes with me :) I am amazed at how well I feel and how little pain there has been. You're right - Dr Allbrook is a genius! I am absolutely thrilled with my new boobs and flat tummy. I love what it has done for my thighs and bum too - couldn't be happier!

Skinny: I hope you didn't get too much of a fill. I know you've had your band for a while, but be careful if you're gurgling today. You may be too tight tomorrow. I hope not. Anyway, you're still recuperating from surgery and your body needs good nutrition while you are healing. Keep the healing as your priority for a while. Your band will keep you in check as long as you're not wide open. Best wishes to your continued...

Fanny, we've got to catch up when I get back from hols. Until then, take care, rest up and be fabulous!

Oooh good luck Fanny. Surgeon's are so silly about this weight thing, as if 72kg exactly is the ONLY weight at which you will be healthy. Do they not realise that those are STATISTICS - which means you absolutely cannot apply an absolute to any one person. You could be a 72kg smoker and drinker or a 64 kg runner who lives on freaking mung beans - who is going to live longer? Or you could be a 60kg pot head or a 72kg yoga and lentil...

Hey skinnyjeans!! Excited to share your journey with you. Thank you so much for posting. I started having LAP-BAND® "possible leak" issues about 3 years ago. I lost 100 lbs, was ready to lose about 35 more to be finished when it abruptly stopped. I was 2 years post op so I figured I had learned how to eat past the band, that the magic was over, and it was some psychological thing. I went back ...

i've elected to do a little at a time. Jan 5th, i am getting a tummy tuck with lipo contouring and bracioplasty (sp?). my total for surgeons fees, anestesia, garments blah blah blah is $9600. I applied and got the care credit card, some places use MLEND. Esentially, i am financing for 5 years at 200+ a month. it sucks but i've come to far to stop now.

Side Effects of Liposuction: permalink Liposuction is a relatively safe procedure, and updates in medical technology have limited the number of complications and risks. However, no procedure is perfect and there still exists the possibility of minor or even severe complications. Minor complications are more common and most can usually be fixed. Some of these...

Hi Josiebies: I don't have any advice because I'm scheduled just after you for my own tummy tuck. I'm on the 14th. I'm hoping that you'll share the pre-op appointment details with me. I go on Wednesday for mine. Isn't it great to think that our tummies will be flat again! Thanks for sharing, and best wishes to you. I love my band! Sue
