Sounds like I may well have been a bit hasty in advising on possible BECM failure, I'll take on board the comments regarding the alternator/earth issue, always good to get other ideas on these things. Hope I didnt lead you too astray MOWF, hopefully the others responses have given you a fix for this issue.

after reading about the elusive 150 bhp diesel engine fitted to a 525tds i tried to find one but couldnt so i settled for a late omega engine due to time constraints(misses moaning about nicking her car)looked on autodata was only fitted to the bmw or so i thought, i had to have the lot as a rod popped out the side straight into my loom and knackered my ecu when the range was back on the road it was seriously more powerful than before i just...

The vehicle comes with a card that you can put the codes on and keep i your wallet, not much use in the hand book in a locked vehicle that you cant get into, similarly not much point in having the Radio code in the handbook in the vehicle, where to tow rag nicking your radio can nick your hand book with the number in. L322 radios are not coded, they are none standard and built in to the vehicle, so near impossible to nick, and even harder to...

Advice On Arnott Gen11 Or 111
Published (2008-11-26 17:05:00)
thank you for that, yes i was thinking of gen11 but i did read that gen111s gave a much stiffer ride on motorway and standard height settings, but in old threads people say gen111s with konis go over the top and that its to stiff.

Picked up my mum from the station last night, was 2 miles from home when suddenly all these warning messages started flashing up one by one: traction failure, gearbox failure, bulb failure, and a few others. Various dashboard warning lights started going on and off, then the lights went dim and the car ground to a halt. It started fine this morning, but then all the warning messages started...

I have an 04 Range Rover, and I am having some major trouble with it. It all started about 2 weeks ago, when my dog chewed on my only key. I found it on the ground, covered in spit, and unable to function. I went down to my car and proceeded to drive away. I was able to make a quick couple mile errand, and then return. When I returned I locked the car by means of the outside door handle ...

I have recently bought a 2005 Range Rover TD6 and am having an issue with the tip tronic gear box.....I say issue, it doesn't work! It still drives fine in normal auto mode but as soon as I shift into manual mode the shifter does nothing and continues in full auto. Any ideas what the cause of this is?
