did you ever get this problem corrected? I had mine replaced twice recently and am still having problems with the battery burning out... it started with the second windshield. The first one they forget to hook up after replacing it. the second one I think they bared a hot wire that is now grounding out every time I turn on the defroster. any ideas?

there should be nothing special about it. Check for corrosion or build up on the part of the rim that goes over the hub. Crap can build up in this area and it may be easy to get off but almost impossible to get back on.

2004 RR-HSE Steering-wheel problem
Published (2009-12-05 16:09:00)
For some odd reason, my steering wheel adjuster on the lower left hand side of the steering wheel is not allowing me to adjust my steering wheel either up or down. It does allow me to bring it in closer or farther away from me. Also, I noticed it when I was trying to change my seating position's 1 to 2 to 3. It's suppose to automatically change the seating position, which it would, but my steering wheel will not move and would stay...

you are probably not charging! The lights and everything came on due to the
low voltage. The new battery delayed this or made everything fine for a
moment until it will wear down. I would check the voltage at the alternator
to see what it is pushing. It should be at least 13.5v or higher. You could
also check your grounds and connections.

you can download the RAVE in PDF for free, cant remember the site but do a
google search and you'll find it. As far as the ABS light, if its not
beeping at you scrolling an ABS/traction fault message in the message
center don't worry about it. try replacing the batteries and buttons on
your key fob, the kit is pretty cheap. As far as the odometer thing, i have
no idea, but im sure someone more ...

Nope as I don't own one...but sorry to hear of your problems. Seems like the dealer needs to do some massive ass kissing to make things right because land rover can't.
Seems like the pre inspection could have not been done at all. Demand a new one not a rapired one. At less than 4k on the clock you could probobly get away with being a real bastard. Besides you seem to be a realy good customer ...

Has anyone ever experience or delt with any minor leaking of coolant from the Valley Plate for an 2004 Range Rover HSE? Took the truck to a RR-Technician to replace my water pump, and he also noticed the Valley Plate had a minor leak in it. Does anyone know what interior parts I would need, in case I were to get this repaired? Thanks.
