I also have the V6 LR3 and for the life of me can't figure out why landrover decided to not use the engine any more. The V6 LR3 I have competes well with the previous V8 Diso II I used to own. In fact I would agree with other comments that it is possibly a better engine/trani combination. I tow my boat and travel off road a lot and it has never been unpowered. The fuel economy makes it a better decision (19-20 highway and 13-17 city, best...

I drove the v6 and v8 around town the 6 is not bad and gets along good I opted for the v8 so it would pull the boat better.

I have a 2006 LR3 V6, and actually it has been a great vehicle with several orders of magnitude less problems then my Disco II. The major problem with this vehicle is the stereo reception. The vehicle is stock with no changes what so ever. The AM and FM signals fade in and out continuously regardless of where I am located (and it has always been like that). The loacal landrover keeps telling me ...

I'm thinking of getting a Discovery as a daily drive and I've send some cheap ones with high mileage. My question is what are they like with 100k on the clock and what sort of MPG do people get.

I have a 2006 LR3. I am sporadically getting a yellow suspension warning light with the info message saying "Suspension option not available", or something close to that. I have an appointment tomorrow with the Land Rover dealer, but was hoping I could have some idea of what it could be prior to showing up. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

I am having an ARB bumper installed on my '08 LR3 today. The shop said that the bumper doesn't mess with the suspension at all....nor the air bags or lighting. They do have to do some cutting on the front of the wheel well skirts (?) but it is going to look pretty cool.....I hope anyway as they aren't cheap. On another subject I am also having side rails installed. The rails have the bonus of...

I need to change the oil in our "new" 05 LR3. I crawled under it last weekend. I am assuming I have to take that damn skid plate off, located underneath the engine to get to the oil filter? I found that K&N 1014 (i think that is the correct filter) fits the LR3, but it looks like a short filter. Does anyone know if K&N has a long filter? If so, will a long filter fit with that skid plate?...
